It depends on the community. Some communities are for people to show off their work but *most* communities are to allow other people to use the icon.
For the contest, if you wanted to submit an icon that was not intended for redistribution, that'd be fine. (Although, I can't guarantee someone won't "steal" it...) But for submitting to the community in general, it really needs to be share-able. ;) |
