From a PM I received a day or two ago:
Don't know if you've been following the thing about restocking the DW war chest ( http://dw-biz.dreamwidth.org/3346.html ), but I'm trying to organize some grassrootsy stuff over in dwrocks (one of my comms). I'm wondering if maybe iconc could host a contest. See if anyone would be willing to sponsor it. Best new icon, perhaps? Or an icon-making bounty? A post where you can request an icon in exchange for gifting paid time or DW credits (explained in the latest news post http://dw-news.dreamwidth.org/18764.html )? Something like that? Just a thought.
First I'm kind of confused about just what is being asked here, and second I thought I should ask you all what you think about it.
So.... thoughts?
We could do a "Last Icon Maker Standing" contest for it, or something similar. |
